Present and future technologies

Many of the articles I write are focussed on bringing the present and future business trends in several areas. My intention is to  bring awareness and opportunities to students, budding entrepreneurs and for the industry to benefit from  latest in their field of activity. I also want our student community to adopt, acquire knowledge and adjust their outlook to what’s is going on in the business and in industry because that’s where their future career will be. In this blog I’m bringing some more interesting companies. The manufacturer of a renewable diesel fuel made out of biomass-derived ingredients Wi-Fi-enabled, energy-monitoring smart plug a free energy monitoring tool that gathers and analyzes information

from multiple energy accounts “smart glass” technology that allows different levels of light to enter based on user controls

The Holter with wires attached to body is presently used for monitoring body signals. The Holter’s most common use is for monitoring heart activity (electrocardiography or ECG), but it can also be used for monitoring brain activity (electroencephalography or EEG).

For a fraction of the cost of the Holter monitor a Carlos III university in Madrid came up with intelligent T-shirt that can be used for early stage symptoms just like Holter. This gadget is hassle free from wires, contains a series of electrodes that measure and record bioelectrical activity. The t shirt also includes a removable thermometer and accelerometer that measures temperature and movement, and a separate positioning device that allows doctors and nurses to keep track of where patients are.
