A team of Mexican designers came up with a idea of water less toilets. Traditionally toilets consume 30% of water. The new design turns waste into organic compost. Check for more details here.
“The waterless toilet is a device that separates solid and liquid waste, through a separator and the implementation of a series of simple mechanisms that help to do it. Once separated, the solid wastes are dehydrated by drying mixture of earth-lime, so that it becomes a pathogen-free organic compost.”
