Students on their part should look at the amazing innovations that are happening across the globe and presented to us thru Internet. One example is Facebook created by a student with 500 million users and beating Google as the number one site for content is a innovative business that provided jobs to many people, gave opportunity for other business to use it’s platform and made its investors rich. The company is very profitable and created new job categories for today’s young generations.
Then there is APP store from apple. You can post any app on app store so that people can download them and pay you for the applications you developed. Example : there is a app for using apple Iphone for checking body temperature , Blood pressure and other vital body signs. Similarly there are so many innovative efforts happening to solve global problems such as affordable houses for the poor. Every major global crisis ranging from pure drinking water problem to global warming is a opportunity to start a new business by giving a creative and practically possible solutions. Students should look for problems and think them as opportunity to develop business solutions.
